Career Transition Coach: "I'm doing 5 free resume reviews this week. I'll tell you exactly what's keeping you from getting interviews. DM me 'RESUME' for a spot."

Why this works:

Personalized (not generic)

Valuable (real feedback, not theory)

Limited (creates urgency)

Starts a conversation (you DM them, they respond, you diagnose)

TYPE #2: THE QUICK-WIN TEMPLATE

Give them something they can use immediately.

Not "read and learn."

Copy, paste, and use.

Examples:

Relationship Coach: "I have a 3-question framework that tells you if someone is actually interested or just wasting your time. Comment 'FRAMEWORK' and I'll send it."

Career Coach: "I created a 5-sentence LinkedIn summary template that gets recruiters to message you first. DM me 'SUMMARY' if you want it."

Actionable (they can use it today)

Specific (not vague tips)

Proven (you've used it and got results)

Starts a conversation (you DM them, ask how it's working, diagnose their real problem)

TYPE #3: THE LIVE TRAINING / CHALLENGE

Instead of a static PDF, do something live and time-bound.

Examples:

Relationship Coach: "I'm hosting a free 60-minute training: 'Why Good People Stay Single (And How to Fix It).' Wednesday at 7 PM. Comment 'LIVE' for the Zoom link."

Why this works:

Live = urgency (they have to show up)

Interactive (they can ask questions)

High value (you're giving your time)

Builds trust fast (they see you live, hear you talk, trust you more)

Easy to convert (you can pitch your paid offer at the end)

THE LEAD MAGNET RATIO: HOW MUCH TO GIVE FOR FREE

This is where most coaches screw up.

They either:

Option A: Give TOO MUCH for free

They create a 50-page PDF.

They teach everything.

And the person thinks: "I already have everything I need. Why would I pay?"

Option B: Give TOO LITTLE

They create a vague 2-page checklist.

It's not valuable enough.

And the person thinks: "That was useless. They probably can't help me."

THE RULE: GIVE THEM THE "WHAT" AND "WHY," KEEP THE "HOW"

Here's the formula:

Tell them WHAT to do (the steps)

Tell them WHY it works (the psychology/strategy)

Don't show them HOW to do every step (that's what they pay you for)

HOW TO DELIVER WITHOUT OVERWHELMING
